Lowforge Clancy of Contender - Stan is the first working cocker spaniel to join the kennel. He's a Cocker with a big 'C'- soft as butter but hard hunter that will face any cover or obsticle and who loves water. He's a natural quater and absolutely loves retrieving weather it's dummies or game.

Stan has been trained as a cocker which means that he will drop to shot, turn on the whistle and retrieve nicely to hand. He is also part of my picking up team and copes very well with the 'swap' from walked-up to picking-up duty. I have the priviledge of working him on walked-up woodcock on a local shoot - the job for which this breed was intended.

His temperament allows you to strech him but not to push him - he works with you but not for you. Stan is a proper Working Cocker!
